Loving Hands Doula Care is not available for new birthing clients beginning in May 2025
Repeat clients will be considered on a case by case basis with the support of a partner doula while Johanna is enrolled in nursing school. Postpartum services may be available for both daytime and overnight support in limited amounts

As a new parent, you deserve to be cared for while recovering and adjusting to the changes that come after birth. As your postpartum doula I provide practical help, from supporting you in taking care of yourself and your newborn, to housework and meal preparation, to emotional encouragement and support.

Daytime Postpartum Care
Daytime postpartum support is tailored to meet your family's specific care needs whether you need help around the house, making meals, or with baby care and recovery from birth.
Minimum of 3 hours per visit. $40/hour

Overnight Postpartum Care
Feeling totally exhausted? Maximize your sleep between feedings with my help taking care of your baby throughout the night or allow me to take care of all your baby's needs for the night. Sleep peacefully knowing your baby is receiving compassionate experienced care according to your instructions. I can provide all care or bring baby to you for breastfeeding times. I offer support with feedings as needed and then take care of diapering and soothing your baby while you drift right back to sleep.
In the morning I provide notes about the night along with any recommendations for promoting better sleep or any other helpful resources.

Additional Postpartum Support
Traditional Bengkung Belly Binding - Encourage closure and healing after your birth through this ancient and beautiful art of belly wrapping. The wrap provides support to your hips, abdominal muscles, and rib cage to promote recovery and reduce back pain following pregnancy and birth. I offer single or multiple visit wrapping sessions.
